– 9″ Pilates ball
– Small pillow for under your head
– potentially another pillow or 2!
What we practice in this class:
Welcoming the in-breath
Giving back to the earth with the out-breath
Soften to receive, and reciprocity with each cycle of breath
– Constructive rest
– Yawn Stretch
– Lateral Stretch
– Hip circles
– Spinal waves, and pelvic tilt and rotations on the 9′ pilates ball
– Alternate arm and leg extensions for core strength
– Cat/Cow
– Child’s post
– Locust series
– Down Dog
– Equal Standing – Tree
– Diamond pelvic tilts
– Long hold lazy twist
